People have offered many potential explanations for this discrepancy, but this ad highlights the importance of the social cues that push girls away from math and science in their earliest childhood years.
Having a math degree, this really resonates with me. I was always insecure about liking math and science. In college most of my professors and peers were male, and most ignored me because they assumed since i was female I wasn’t as good at math as them.
We need to start being aware of what we are telling our daughters, nieces, cousins… make sure they know there is more to them than a pretty face!
Is harder than you think. It seems all photographers who support lgbtq couples are crazy expensive! Of course the good photographer not requiring an arm and leg are fine with my wedding only if its not religious. Brush it off or find someone else?

Oh I’ve been hoping to find a lesbian Air Force couple out here somewhere! I, I guess unfairly, get aggravated with all the husband stuff. I’m gonna have to start customizing things to say “my wife is in the Air Force”. So excited to see another couple actually doing it, congratulations on graduating!
